Jellyflix Web, Jellyflix Native, and ObnoxiousTV are independent products—not editions of one app. Jellyflix Web has web-derived device installs, Jellyflix Native has its own device packages, and ObnoxiousTV installs inside a compatible Stremio client.

Each card goes to its own installation surface. A Jellyflix Native release does not update Jellyflix Web or ObnoxiousTV.

Jellyflix Web

Runs at jellyflix.app. Android and Android TV can use the Jellyflix WebView package; iPhone and iPad use the same web app as an installable PWA. These are Jellyflix Web delivery targets, not Jellyflix Native builds.

Jellyflix Native

A native-first build from the ReNative codebase, with its own web preview, device packages, and checksums. All current Jellyflix Native targets are early alpha testing builds.

Private Stremio-protocol addon

ObnoxiousTV

A separate Discord-gated service that installs as a private manifest in Stremio, Nuvio, or another compatible client. It is not a Jellyflix Web or Jellyflix Native executable.

Every Jellyflix Native build is early alpha: current artifacts are unsigned or developer-mode packages. Verify the SHA-256 file beside a package before sideloading, and avoid devices you cannot recover.

Quick setup guides

Open only the device you need. These stay intentionally short and can be collapsed again.

Android TV
  1. Download the Android TV APK on the TV, or move it there from another device.
  2. Allow installs from the browser, Downloader, or file manager you are using.
  3. Open the APK, install Jellyflix, then sign in to your server.
Samsung Tizen
  1. Enable Developer Mode and connect the TV to Tizen Studio.
  2. Download the WGT and sign it with your local certificate profile.
  3. Install it from Device Manager, then launch Jellyflix.
Browser
  1. Open the Jellyflix Native preview at native.obby.ca, or Jellyflix Web at jellyflix.app.
  2. Sign in to your server.
  3. Verifying the checksum: compare the SHA-256 file beside a package against your own hash of the download.
iPhone & iPad
  1. Open jellyflix.app in Safari.
  2. Use Share → Add to Home Screen to install it as a PWA.
  3. A native iOS build will arrive through TestFlight later.
